Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels

How do Chemical Peels work?

A lot of the most common skin problems are caused by the build-up of dead skin cells as a result of conditions such as Acne or through sun damage, making skin look thick and dull with clogged pores.  Our Chemical Peels are a popular treatment method aimed at removing the dead skin cells to encourage the stimulation of collagen and elastin to rejuvenate the skin for a more youthful, brighter appearance

A lot of skin problems are caused by or associated with the external environment, but in the case of Acne it may also be the effect of hormones. While it usually affects people in adolescence it can also extend into adult life, having a major impact on self-confidence.

Chemical Peels offer advanced exfoliation, normalising skin renewal rates, plumping and hydrating skin from within and decreasing the appearance of ageing. There is some mild tingling that isn’t painful and no down time is required as with other chemical peels.

Results:

A chemical peel can improve skin texture and tone, as well as decrease the appearance of fine wrinkles. The results will be subtle at first, but will increase with repeated treatments. After a light peel, avoid sun exposure until new skin completely covers the treated area. Lines, wrinkles, open pores and scarring will appear visibly reduced and skin becomes more radiant and firmer.

How many treatments will I need and are they right for me?

Depending on your lifestyle and skin type, weekly peels over four to six weeks will maximise results.

Skin peels are ideal for anyone who wants to reduce any sun damage, fine lines, shallow acne scars, dry or rough skin, dull skin tone, uneven pigmentation, acne or enlarged pores and achieve better appearance of their skin.
