Profhilo treatment is a revolutionary concept of returning a youthfull fresh complexion to smooth out wrinkles rather than ‘filling’ them. It effectively stimulates production of both your natural collagen and elastin to renew your skin from within.

How does it work?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in our skin. It binds moisture and aids the production of collagen. As we grow older, our hyaluronic acid production begins to slow down and as a result, our skin begins to look duller and more dehydrated. This effect on our skin texture is what then causes fine lines and wrinkles to form.

Profhilo helps in the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen, elastin and deep hydricha which all help to release hyaloronic acid within the skin. This results in improvements in skin tone and lifting of the skin together with a significant improvement in tissue quality. This means that Profhilo works differently to any other facial treatment on the market the Profhilo filler acts as a hydrator rather than a filler, and therefore helps provide more plump and luminous skin.

The Profhilo disperses quickly across the injection site to instantly hydrate skin, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and generally improves texture. The gel-like consistency means the Profhilo filler is distributed evenly, without the formation of any bumps, which poses a potential risk with other traditional fillers.

Who is it for?

Its great for younger clients who want to start anti-ageing treatments but arent ready for fillers/botox yet but it is also just as effective on more mature skin types that want to gain firmer more radiant skin. It can also be used to compliment fillers/botox treatments. It is also suitable for male or female clients.

Treatment

After a consultation with Sarah Byrne the first treatment will involve two visits to the salon with a 4 week interval, the cost of this is £500. Follow up treatments can then be taken at anythig betweeen 3-6 months based on client preference at a cost of £250.

The Profhilo™ is injected using a technique called BAP (BIO AESTHETIC POINTS), the BAP technique is 5 entry points of injection for each side of the face.

This technique, created for the lower third of the face due to its predisposition to dermal atrophy caused by the ageing phenomena: reduces the number of injection sites reduces the number of visits.

Side Effects

Immediately after treatment there may be some redness at the injection site and you may experience some itching or tenderness in the treated area. This will generally disappear within 24-hours.
